What is worship like?
Worship is celebrated every Sunday at 10:00 AM.
First and foremost, our hope is that anyone attending our Sunday services would feel warmly welcomed! We realize that coming to a new church for the first time can be a bit stressful so we do our best to create a comfortable atmosphere. Our desire is to create a space where we can connect with God and with each other in a real way.
Whether you’ve never been in church before or you’re a Sunday regular, you can anticipate an encouraging & enlightening experience! Our services are contemporary and are designed to be relevant, engaging and meaningful. Centered around the Word and Sacraments, worship is shaped to make connections to our daily lives and to our community.
We celebrate communion at every service. You don’t have to be Lutheran and you don’t have to be a member of Rejoice. We invite all who believe in Jesus as our Savior to participate.
Our Rejoice Worship Ensemble (RWE), backed by guitars, keyboard and drums, lead us in lively and contemporary songs creating a true spirit of worship.
Is there something for my children?
Yes! We love to see kids in worship, but we also have a staffed nursery for children 3 and under if you would like them to be cared for during worship.
Club WOW (We are One in the Word) is Rejoice’s Sunday School program for children in preschool through 5th grade and is held during worship September through May at both services. Kids will begin worship with their parents in the sanctuary and then are brought downstairs for fun, interactive learning! The children will be brought upstairs in time to celebrate communion with their families. In the summertime, kids are invited downstairs during the sermon to enjoy Bible stories, crafts and games, returning before communion.
ALL children – whether they are regular attenders or new to Rejoice – are welcome and invited to all of our children’s ministry programs!
Worshiping and sharing food and drink together are fundamental ways in which we develop bonds and form lasting and meaningful relationships. Once a month (usually the first Sunday of the month) we celebrate “Sunday Together” where we share a meal after worship. Sunday Together is an opportunity to worship together, eat together, and share community together.
What do I wear?
As for what to wear, dress however you feel comfortable. Some people dress casually in jeans and some dress up. Just dress your style.
